RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Lake County Department of Public Works owns, operates and maintains 12 public water systems throughout the County including the Wildwood water system; and
WHEREAS, certain segments of water main pipes within the Wildwood water system are reaching the end of their service life and need to be replaced, and certain segments need to be upsized to increase the capacity of the distribution system; and
WHEREAS, the most economical and efficient method to provide reliable service is to replace approximately 6,000 feet of water main in the Wildwood water system; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, bids were called for by publication for the Gages Lake Road Water Main Replacement Project; and
WHEREAS, D'Land Construction LLC is the lowest responsive, responsible bidder in the amount of $2,744,239.30.
