RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, in August 2025, an Intergovernmental Support Agreement (IGSA) was signed between Naval Station Great Lakes (NSGL) and Lake County for demolition and installation support services; and
WHEREAS, the United States Navy has appropriated and approved a not to exceed amount of $11,379,000 for the first phase of demolition and partial remediation of Halsey Village military housing located in North Chicago, Illinois; and
WHEREAS, Lake County will execute job orders and the NSGL will reimburse Lake County for specific services, up to the amount of $11,379,000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that an emergency appropriation in the amount of $11,379,000 in intergovernmental revenues for the Naval Station Great Lakes Halsey Village Demolition Phase I project to fund project expenses of $11,379,000 is hereby authorized in the General Fund (Fund 101) Fiscal Year 2026 budget as identified on the listing of expense and revenue budget modifications attached hereto and made...
