RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the Lake County State’s Attorney’s Office has been awarded a Healing Illinois Grant from the Illinois DHS, for the time period of January 1, 2025 through June 30, 2025, in the amount of $11,100.00; and
WHEREAS, the Lake County State’s Attorney’s Office will use this funding towards costs related to workshops to promote community building and engagement in Lake County.
WHEREAS, that the State’s Attorney shall serve as the project director for the program and accurate records of all necessary grant compliance requirements shall be kept by the State’s Attorney’s Office.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that an emergency appropriation in the amount of $11,100 is hereby authorized in the Lake County State’s Attorney’s Office Fiscal Year 2025 budget for the GI-RPSA grant awarded by the Illinois DHS VPS; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that $11,100 is hereby authorized for the Healing Illinois grant program in expenditure and revenue accounts as identified on the listing of expense and revenue budget modifications attached hereto and made part of thereof; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Chair of the Board, the Lake County State’s Attorney, and the Lake County Treasurer are hereby authorized to execute the necessary documentation in order to accept the grant.
