R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, in order to preserve the condition of the pavements, shoulders, and rights-of-way of the designated routes on the county highway system, the Division of Transportation annually undertakes various maintenance activities that utilize miscellaneous highway materials; and
WHEREAS, the current inspection of the county highway system is identifying more shoulder aggregate work required than originally planned; and
WHEREAS, this County Board of Lake County, Illinois at its meeting on August 11, 2009 appropriated an initial $568,000 of Motor Fuel Tax funds for the miscellaneous highway materials needed for fiscal year 2010 and originally designated as Section 10-00000-00-GM.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois that there is hereby is appropriated a supplemental amount of $50,000 of Motor Fuel Tax funds for the miscellaneous highway materials needed for fiscal year 2010 to support various maintenance activities on various county highways and designated as Section 10-00000-15-GM.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the original designation of Section 10-00000-00-GM for the said appropriation made on August 11,2009 now be re-designated as Section 10-00000-15-GM.
