Approval of an Intergovernmental Agreement between the SMC and the Village of Round Lake Beach for the Round Lake Drain Master Plan Phase 1 Project with a Project Expense Match (PEM) value of $48,356.17, subject to final legal review.

 

Staff Summary

•                     Funding for the intergovernmental agreement is included in Grant Agreement No. 24-413046 between Lake County and the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO) that was executed December 15, 2024.

•                     This project was authorized by SMC for inclusion in DCEO-STOCIP Regional Stormwater Infrastructure Project Round 2 on September 5, 2024.

•                     The intergovernmental agreement will provide funding, on a reimbursement basis, in an amount not-to-exceed $1,825,450.00 for the Round Lake Drain Master Plan Phase 1 Project.  SMC will oversee bidding and project construction.

•                     The Village of Round Lake Beach will pay a Project Expense Match to SMC of $48,356.17 for administrative and engineering expenses related to the project.
