• Due to the nature of transportation project work occurring over multiple years, this is a routine annual appropriation request to carryover previously appropriated funds into the current fiscal year.
• These projects and revenue were not included in the FY 2025 budget because the funds were allocated or made available in previous fiscal years.
• Without this action, these projects and revenue will not have the budget authority required.

RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, as part of the budget preparation for Fiscal Year (FY) 2025, and as part of the year end activities for FY 2024, certain projects have been identified in the FY 2024 budget that, for a variety of reasons, will not be completed or, in the case of revenue, was not received by the end of the fiscal year; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary for the FY 2025 budget to re-authorize the associated budgets for the previously approved projects, along with any additional revenue that has been received for the previous fiscal year, and project related reimbursement revenue from outside agencies and appropriate the carryover revenue and related expense.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that emergency appropriations for FY 2025 for the LCDOT capital funds are hereby authorized as detailed in the attached listing, which is hereby made a part of this resolution.
