RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, there is a need to procure electronic monitoring for Lake County Adult Probation; and
WHEREAS, the current contract will expire August 31, 2026; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with section 33.051 of the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, proposals were called for by publication for electronic monitoring services; and
WHEREAS, subsequent to said publication, request for proposals were extended to 9 vendors and sealed proposals were received from 3 vendors and opened in the County Building, Waukegan, Illinois, on April 27, 2026, at 11:00 a.m; and
WHEREAS, this resolution authorizes a two-year contract, with three one-year renewal options with SCRAM Systems for electronic monitoring services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the Purchasing Agent is authorized to enter into a contract with SCRAM Systems of Greenwood Village, Colorado to provide electronic monitoring services for Lake County Adult Probation in the estimated annual amount of $400,000.
