Environmental Health is proposing revisions to the Animal Care and Control Fees Schedule, specifically fees for municipal contracts. The proposed changes include:
• Certain language was amended for clarity and to align with Chapter 172
• Disposal of an animal impounded at the Animal Care and Control facility increased from $35 to $150, with exceptions
• Services for a non-contracted municipality increased to from $200 to $250
These proposed revisions were reviewed and approved by the Environmental Health Advisory Committee at their November 17, 2025 meeting. There were no comments from the public hearing held on December 9, 2025.
