RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the Lake County Department of Public Works (LCPW) owns and operates the Des Plaines River Water Reclamation Facility, which provides wastewater treatment for numerous municipalities and surrounding unincorporated areas; and
WHEREAS, biosolids are removed from wastewater through the treatment process and must be disposed of, and the conveyor that moves this material from the biosolids dryer to the storage silos requires replacement; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, bids were called for by publication of the Biosolids Conveyor Replacement Project; and
WHEREAS, Boller Construction Company, Inc. is the lowest responsive, responsible bidder in the amount of $966,900, and this project was budgeted and included in the ...
