· Lake County entered into a lease agreement with Great Lakes Training Facility, Inc., on September 25, 2006 for a land area of 71.33 acres located at 15900 Russell Road in Zion, IL.
· The lease agreement allows for the Great Lakes Training Facility Inc., to construct, develop, maintain and operate a disaster training facility on the leased portion of the County owned site and stipulates that the County shall reasonably assist the Foundation in obtaining approvals or permits from other governmental agencies.
· The Lake County Division of Transportation requires the dedication of ten additional feet of right-of-way for public road purposes along the frontage of Russell Road as part of the approval process for a major access permit for this site.
· This resolution authorizes the execution of the right-of-way dedication.

WHEREAS, the County of Lake, Illinois entered into a lease agreement with Great Lakes Training Facility, Inc (The Foundation) on September 25, 2006 for a land area of 71.33 acres located at 15900 Russell Road in Zion; and

WHEREAS, said lease agreement allows for the Great Lakes Training Facility, Inc to construct, develop, maintain and operate a disaster training facility on the leased portion of the County owned site; and

WHEREAS, said lease agreement stipulates that the County covenants and agrees to reasonably assist the Foundation in obtaining approvals or permits from other governmental agencies; and
