RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, pursuant to authority granted by this Lake County Board, the County Engineer heretofore called for sealed bids, by publication, to provide crack sealing of hot-mix asphalt and concrete pavement, where necessary, on various County highways, and designated as Section 23-00000-04-GM; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said publication and calling for said bids, sealed bids were received and opened on March 14, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at the Lake County Division of Transportation in Libertyville, Illinois; a tabulation of said bids being as follows:

$214,836.20
SKC Construction Inc.
West Dundee, Illinois
$261,293.90
WHEREAS, the Public Works and Transportation Committee, the County Engineer, and the Purchasing Agent have examined each bid, and it appears that the lowest responsible bidder is Denler, Inc., Joliet, Illinois, in the amount of $214,836.20, based on estimated quantities and unit prices; and
WHEREAS, an appropriation of funds is required.
