Staff Summary

•                     The County Board approved Community Services Agreement # 11GM136000 with the Illinois Department of Human Services for the 19^th Judicial Circuit’s Early Service Program and an emergency appropriation in the amount of $71,251 in July 2010.

•                     The Nineteenth Judicial Circuit has since received notice that funding for this program will be increased to $79,167 for the period July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2011.

•                     It is therefore necessary to appropriate the additional $7,916 in funding.

Body

WHEREAS, the 19^th Judicial Circuit of Lake County Early Service Program (Delinquency Prevention) Agreement # 11GM136000 with the Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS) was initially approved in the amount of $71,251; and

WHEREAS, the IDHS has allocated additional funding for this program in the amount of $7,916 for the time period July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2011; and

                     WHEREAS, these funds were not included in the county fiscal year 2010 budget, so it is therefore necessary to appropriate this funding.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that it hereby authorizes an emergency appropriation of $7,916 in additional funding for the 19^th Judicial Circuit of Lake County “Early Service Program (Delinquency Prevention)” in account 101-3270020-79940; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the budget in revenue account 101-3270020-45400 also be increased by $7,916.
