Resolution recommending the appointment of Craig W. Taylor as a member of the Lake County Board, representing District 19, and as a member of the Revenue, Records and Legislation Committee and the Public Works and Transportation Committee.
Body
WHEREAS, due to the resignation of Michael Talbett, there now exists a vacancy in the District 19 County Board seat; and
WHEREAS, your Chairman recommends Craig W. Taylor be appointed to represent the county's 19th District on the County Board; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 5/25-11 of the Election Code, Craig W. Taylor shall serve until the next general election at which time the office shall be filled by election for the remainder of the four year term; and
WHEREAS, your Chairman also recommends the appointment of Craig W. Taylor to fill the vacancy on the Revenue, Records and Legislation Committee and the Public Works and Transportation Committee.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that Craig W. Taylor is hereby appointed as the District 19 representative on the Lake County Board, and as a member of the Revenue, Records and Legislation Committee and the Public Works and Transportation Committee.
