• The work to be done is asphalt patching and seal coat.
• Before a project letting can be held an appropriation of $100,000 of Matching Tax funds is necessary.

R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, the Millennium Bike Path from Midlothian Road (County Highway 48) to Chevy Chase Road and the Chain O’Lakes Bike Path from Washington Avenue to Lake Shore Drive are bike paths under the maintenance jurisdiction of the Lake County Division of Transportation; and
WHEREAS, it would be beneficial to the preservation if the pavements could be maintained by patching, where necessary, and seal coat surfacing; and
WHEREAS, the above-said bike path maintenance is included in the 2010 program.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that there is hereby appropriated $100,000 of Matching Tax funds to provide for patching, where necessary, and seal coat surfacing for the bike paths along the Millennium Bike Path from Midlothian Road to Chevy Chase Road and the Chain O’Lakes Bike Path from Washington Avenue to Lake Shore Drive and designated as Section 10-00000-11-RS.
