Joint resolution providing Motor Fuel Tax funds for the maintenance of the County Highway System from December 1, 2009 to November 30, 2010.  The amount of the appropriation is $568,000 and designated as Section 10-00000-00-GM.

                     2010 Motor Fuel Tax Fund, Patrol I: Appropriation

                     Patrol I are those maintenance materials and activities paid out of the Motor Fuel Tax fund and include material supply contracts such as sign material, and shoulder aggregate.

                     Funds must be appropriated prior to a letting being held.

Body

 

WHEREAS, in order to preserve the condition of the pavements, shoulders, and rights-of-way of the designated routes on the county highway system, the Division of Transportation annually undertakes various maintenance activities that utilize miscellaneous highway materials; and

 

WHEREAS, the estimated cost of highway materials to support the planned maintenance activities for 2010 is $568,000.

 

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois that there is hereby appropriated $568,000 of Motor Fuel Tax funds for the miscellaneous highway materials needed for fiscal year 2010 to support various maintenance activities on various county highways and designated as Section 10-00000-00-GM.
