RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, pursuant to authority granted by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, the County Engineer heretofore called for sealed bids, by publication, for the resurfacing of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, from Illinois Route 131 to Commonwealth Avenue, and designated as Section 24-00256-03-RS; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said publication and calling for said bids, sealed bids were received and opened on May 5, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the Lake County Division of Transportation in Libertyville, Illinois; a tabulation of said bids being as follows:

Lake Bluff, Illinois
$2,243,701.47
WHEREAS, the Public Works and Transportation Committee, the County Engineer, and the Purchasing Agent have examined each bid, and it appears that the lowest responsible bidder is Peter Baker and Son Company, Lake Bluff, Illinois, their bid being $2,243,701.47, based on estimated quantities and unit prices; and
WHEREAS, an appropriation of funds is required.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that a contract be awarded to said Peter Baker and Son Company, Lake Bluff, Illinois, in accordance with their bid of $2,243,701.47, based on estimated quantities and unit pric...
