R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Greenleaf Street, County Highway 72, is a designated route on the County highway system; and
WHEREAS, it would be beneficial to the safety and welfare of the motoring public if Greenleaf Street, from Washington Street to Illinois Route 120, could be resurfaced; and
WHEREAS, this resurfacing project will include a culvert replacement and median landscape enhancements; and
WHEREAS, plans, specifications, and estimates of costs for this improvement have been completed, and this improvement is now ready to proceed to contract letting; and
WHEREAS, before a construction letting can be held, an appropriation of funds is needed.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by this Lake County Board, that there is hereby appropriated $1,500,000 of Matching Tax funds for the resurfacing of Greenleaf Street, from Washington Street to Illinois Route 120, and designated as Section 15-00184-04-RS.
