Lake County Health Department and Community Health Center received grant funding from the National Association of County and City Health Officials for the 2025 Infection Prevention and Control Learning Collaborative Project, Mentor Grant for $100,000. The performance period is from January 22, 2025, to June 30, 2025. The funding will support the Lake County Health Department as a mentor to Kern County California Health Department. The program promotes bi-directional learning to improve infection prevention. It focuses on enhancing leadership, refining training plans, and developing solutions to strengthen facility partnerships and public health outcomes. This will fund supplies, training, contractual services, indirect expenses and offset existing staff salary and fringe benefits.

 

Suggested Motion

To approve the National Association of County and City Health Officials for the 2025 Infection Prevention and Control Learning Collaborative Project, Mentor grant funding, and emergency appropriate $100,000 for FY25.
