Staff Summary
· Pharmacy services are provided by Winchester House and the Lake County Health Department primary care service facilities and the following three 24 hour patient care facilities: Women’s Residential Services, Addictions Treatment Program, and Crisis Care Program.
· Services include the provision of prescription and non-prescription drugs, pharmacy consulting services and direct billing to all third-party payers for eligible residents.
· Request for proposals (RFP) were sent to 29 vendors and proposals were received from four firms.
· A selection committee comprised of staff from Winchester House, Health Department, Purchasing and Finance and Administrative Services, recommend Omnicare of North America as the firm that best meets the needs of the County based on the RFP evaluation criteria.
· The resolution authorizes the Purchasing Agent to execute a two-year agreement with three additional one-year renewal options that will cost the County an estimated amount of $311,030.

WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 5-102 of the Lake County Purchasing
Ordinance, Request for Proposals were called for by publication for Pharmaceuticals and Consulting Services for Lake County; and
