RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, in accordance with 705 ILCS 135/10-5(d)(3) and 705 ILCS 105/27.3(d), the circuit court clerk shall maintain a Circuit Court Clerk Operation and Administration Fund; and
WHEREAS, the amounts in this fund may be used to defray the expenses incurred for collection and disbursement of the various assessment schedules; and
WHEREAS, it is practical for transparently reporting the collection and use of these funds to establish a fund for this purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that a new fund, namely the Circuit Court Clerk Operation and Administration Fund, will be created, and consistent with state statute, the Circuit Court Clerk must remit funds collected under 705 ILCS 135/15 et seq. monthly to the County Treasurer, who shall deposit the money identified for this fund.
