Lake County Health Department and Community Health Center (LCHD/CHC) received an increase in grant funding through the Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS), Behavioral Health programs in the amount of $79,989. The period of performance is July 1, 2024, to June 30, 2025. The amount requested to be appropriated in LCFY24 is $33,329. The difference has been accounted for in the LCFY25 budget. The appropriation will fund psychiatric medication for clients, new part-time Crisis Counselor, indirect costs and offset existing salary and fringe benefits.
