RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, Lake County PASSAGE is a cooperative initiative of IDOT and Lake County to implement the federal initiative for the Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) in Lake County; and

WHEREAS, Lake County by and through its Division of Transportation and in cooperation with IDOT and the City of Highland Park now desires to utilize federal highway funds to proceed with Phase II engineering services (Design Engineering); and

WHEREAS, this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, at its meeting of November 18, 2008 authorized the execution of an agreement between Lake County and the City of Highland Park for costs of improvements for connection to Lake County PASSAGE associated with the traffic signals owned by the City of Highland Park; and
