RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the Lake County Department of Public Works (LCPW) owns, operates, and maintains several water reservoirs throughout the County including the Corporate Woods Reservoir in the Vernon Hills water system; and
WHEREAS, the Corporate Woods Reservoir is in need of exterior and interior coatings, exterior roof coating, and modification of appurtenances to extend its service life; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Chapter 33.036 of the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, a bid was called for by publication for the Corporate Woods Reservoir Improvements Project; and
WHEREAS, Boller Construction Company is the lowest responsive, responsible bidder in the amount of $1,065,868.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the Purchasing Agent is hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract with Boller Construction Company, Inc., of Waukegan, Illinois, in the amount of $1,065,868 for the Corporate Woods Reservoir Improvements Project.
