• In June of 2008, the Lake County Board entered into two Inter-Governmental Agreements with the Stormwater Management Commission for grant funding to implement storm water best management practices and green roof installation at the Lake County Center for Planning, Development & Environmental Services totaling $268,684.
• Lake County has pursued implementation of stormwater best management practices and green roof installation at the Lake County Center for Planning, Development & Environmental Services in accordance with the two inter-governmental agreements with the Stormwater Management Commission.

WHEREAS, , in June of 2008, the Lake County Board entered into an Inter-Governmental Agreement with the Stormwater Management Commission for reimbursement of $118,584 in grant funding from the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency through Section 319 of the Clean Water Act toward implementation of the stormwater best management practices and corresponding public information/outreach activities; and
WHEREAS, in June of 2008, the Lake County Board entered into an Inter-Governmental Agreement with the Stormwater Management Commission for reimbursement of $150,100 in grant funding from the US Environmental Protection Agency through a State and Tribal Assistance Grant for installation of a green roof; and
WHEREAS, the proposed appropriation will be fully offset by the grant funding thereby not requiring the expenditure of local tax revenue.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that an emergency appropriation in the amount of $268,684 is hereby authorized and shall be appropriated to 101-1103065-82010-000-000-000-00000 with the offsetting revenue in 101-1103065-49920.
