RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, The County Clerk’s Office is required to conduct two statutorily mandated mailings; and
WHEREAS, A Voter Audit mailing to all registered voters is federally required every two years to ensure accuracy of the voter rolls; and
WHEREAS, The Voter Audit is paid for by the Illinois Voter Registration State Grant; and
WHEREAS, A Permanent Vote by Mail Notice is required by the State of Illinois to notify registered voters about the ability to enroll in the permanent vote by mail program; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, bids were called for by publication for the Permanent Vote by Mail Notices and Audit Letter Mailings; and
WHEREAS, electronic bids were received from eight vendors and publicly opened via Zoom on May 21, 2025, at 11:00 a.m.; and
WHEREAS, Runbeck Election Services is the lowest responsive, responsible bidder in the amount of $66,000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the Purchasing Agent is hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract with Runbeck Election Services, of Phoenix, Arizona in the amount of $66,000 for Permanent Vote by Mail Notices and Audit Letter Mailings.
