WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 4-102 of the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, bids were called for by publication for Installation of three (3) HVAC Roof Top Units at 3002 Grand Ave., Waukegan, IL for the Lake County Health Department; and
WHEREAS, invitations for bids were extended to nineteen (19) contractors and sealed bids were received from nine (9 contractors; and
WHEREAS, McDonough Mechanical Services, Inc., Waukegan, IL is the lowest responsive, responsible bidder for the supply and installation of three (3) HVAC Roof Top Units, for Lake County Health Department, in the amount of $75,171; other bids received ranged from $82,612 to $137,600.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the Purchasing Agent is hereby authorized to enter into a contract with McDonough Mechanical Services, Inc, for Installation of three (3) HVAC Roof Top Units at 3002 Grand Ave., Waukegan, for the Lake County Health Dept., in the amount of $75,171, charging account 101-1103285-82020-000-000-000-11159
