WHEREAS, the County of Lake owns and maintains the Public Works Administration Building in Libertyville; and
WHEREAS, the Administration Building is over 35 years old and requires rehabilitation including the replacement of the existing building windows and doors; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with the Rules of this County Board, bids were called for by publication for the Administration Building Window Replacement Project; and
WHEREAS, subsequent to said publication, invitations to bid were extended to twenty-one (21) contractors; and
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received and publicly opened in the office of the Public Works Department on Thursday, March 26, 2009, at 2:00 p.m., the bid prices were as follows:

WHEREAS, Native Construction & Landscaping, Kansasville, WI, is the low responsive, responsible bidder in the total amount of $73,800.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the Purchasing Agent is hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract with Native Construction & Landscaping, Kansasville, WI, in the amount of $73,800.00 for the Administration Building Window Replacement Project and charging the costs thereof to Account No. 610-4887710-48310.
