R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, pursuant to authority granted by this Lake County Board, the County Engineer heretofore called for sealed bids, by publication, for the removal and replacement of approximately 3,760 square feet of roofing on the Administration Building at the Division of Transportation in Libertyville, Illinois; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said publication and calling for said bids, sealed bids were received and opened on August 1, 2013, at 10:00 AM at the Lake County Permit Facility in Libertyville, Illinois; a tabulation of said bids as follows:

WHEREAS, the Public Works and Transportation Committee, the County Engineer and the Purchasing Agent have examined each bid, and it appears that the lowest responsible bidder is National Roofing Corporation, Forest Park, Illinois, their bid being $61,300, based on estimated quantities and unit prices; and
WHEREAS, the project funding was approved in the Division of Transportation’s 2013 operating budget.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by this Lake County Board that a contract be awarded to said National Roofing Corporation, Forest Park, Illinois, in accordance with their bid of $61,300 based on estimated quantities and unit prices and that the Purchasing Agent, the County Clerk, and the County Engineer of Lake County be authorized, and they are hereby directed to enter into a contract with said low bidder for the removal and replacement of approximately 3,760 square feet of roofing on the Administration Building at the Division of Transportation in Libertyville, Illinois, and designated as Section 13-00214-24-MS.
