RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the installation of a Photovoltaic Array at 18 N. County Street Waukegan, Illinois, has been identified as a strategic initiative of the Lake County Board to reduce energy consumption, support sustainability goals, and enhance operational efficiency for County facilities; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, bids were publicly called for the purchase of a Photovoltaic Array (PV) for the Waukegan Campus; and
WHEREAS, Verde Solutions is the lowest responsive and responsible bidder for the project, with a bid amount of $758,101 for the base bid and alternate bid #1 through #3.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the Purchasing Agent is hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract with Verde Solutions, Chicago, Illinois, in the amount of $758,101 for the purchase of a Photovoltaic Array (PV) for the Waukegan Campus.
