• Lake County desires to enter into a contract for Classification Review Services.
• Lake County extended requests to twelve (12) potential vendors and nine (9) proposals were received.
• An Evaluation Committee comprised of representatives from the Health Department, Human Resources, Judicial Operations and Finance and Administrative Services reviewed all proposals and held interviews with the top four (4) ranked firms.
• Management Advisory Group, Inc., Woodbridge, VA is recommended as the firm that best meets the needs of the County based on RFP evaluation criteria.
• This contract will cost the County an amount not to exceed $58,250.

WHEREAS, , in accordance with Section 5-102 of the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, proposals were called for by publication for Classification Review Services for the Department of Human Resources; and
WHEREAS, subsequent to said publication, request for proposals were extended to twelve (12) vendors; and
WHEREAS, sealed proposals were received from nine (9) vendors and opened in the County Building, Waukegan, Illinois, on May 29, 2008 at 2:00 p.m.; and
WHEREAS, based on the criteria set forth in the Request for Proposals, an Evaluation Committee comprised of representatives from Health Department, Human Resources, Judicial Operations and Finance and Administrative Services held interviews with the top four (4) ranked firms; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with the Evaluation Criteria established in the Request for Proposal and the interview, the Selection Review Committee determined that the proposal submitted by Management Advisory Group, Inc. is the most favorable proposal for Lake County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the Purchasing Agent to negotiate a contract with Management Advisory Group, Inc., Woodbridge, VA for Classification Review Services for the Department of Human Resources in the amount of $58,250.00, charging the costs thereof to 101-1400010-79940-000-000-000-00000.
