RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Lake County, by and through its Division of Transportation has jurisdiction over various street name signs located within the City of Park City; and
WHEREAS, the City of Park City desires to install and maintain street name signs at various locations along county highway; and
WHEREAS, the City of Park City and Lake County are desirous of entering into a master agreement pertaining to the installation of said street name signs, a draft copy of which is attached hereto.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the County Board Chair, the County Clerk, and the County Engineer of Lake County are authorized, and are hereby directed to execute and agreement, and any subsequent amendments thereto, with the City of Park City pertaining to the terms and conditions for the placement of city street name signs within county highway right-of-way; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the County Engineer shall transmit in writing the final agreement, and any subsequent amendments, to be executed by the Chair of the Lake County Board and the County Clerk; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the County Engineer of Lake County is hereby authorized to update, within the above-said agreement between the County and the City of Park City, the list of locations along county highways where city street name signs are approved for installation and operation.
