• Enterprise Information Technology (EIT) recommends renewing with Mythics, Inc. for the hardware and software tools for cloud hosting services of the Oracle (BOSS) system.
• This provider supplies and supports the physical data center resources used to store the Oracle (BOSS) system.
• Pursuant to Chapter 33.115 of the County’s Purchasing Ordinance, Cooperative Joint Purchasing Authorized, the County may participate in a cooperative purchasing agreement for the procurement of goods, services, construction, or professional services with one or more public procurement units in accordance with an agreement entered into between the participants.
• A cooperative purchasing contract with Mythics, Inc. for Oracle solutions has been identified through the National Intergovernmental Purchasing Alliance (NIPA) R190801 to procure the needed goods, services, construction, or professional services that were competitively solicited and awarded.

RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, EIT recommends renewing with Mythics, Inc. for the hardware and software tools for cloud hosting services of the Oracle (BOSS) system; and
WHEREAS, this provider supplies and supports the physical data center resources used to store the Oracle (BOSS) system; and
WHEREAS, Pursuant to Chapter 33.115 of the County’s Purchasing Ordinance, Cooperative Joint Purchasing Authorized, the County may participate in a cooperative purchasing agreement for the procurement of goods, services, construction, or professional services with one or more public procurement units in accordance with an agreement entered into between the participants; and
WHEREAS, a cooperative purchasing contract through NIPA R180701 has been identified to procure the competitively solicited and awarded services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this Lake County Board, that the Purchasing Agent is authorized to enter into a contract with Mythics, Inc. for cloud hosting services of the Oracle (BOSS) system for one-year with the option to renew for one 12-month period in the amount not to exceed $400,000 per year.
