• For any positions not budgeted or grant-funded, the responsible department must obtain separate committee action before utilizing the agreements if the cost exceeds thresholds established by the Purchasing Ordinance.

RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the County requires temporary staffing services to address variable needs across departments, covering a wide range of positions from general administrative support to professional and credentialed roles; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with section 33.051 of the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, proposals were called for by publication for Temporary Employee Services; and
WHEREAS, subsequent to said publication, Request for Proposals (RFP) were received from 61 vendors and opened in the County Building, Waukegan, Illinois, on January 21, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.; and
WHEREAS, based on the criteria set forth in the RFP, an interdepartmental evaluation committee determined that awarding contracts to multiple vendors would provide maximum flexibility to Lake County to meet staffing needs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the Purchasing Agent is authorized to enter into four agreements with staffing agencies for various positions for an initial one-year period with the option to renew for four additional one-year periods.
