• Currently Tower Lakes contracts for sixteen hours of police dispatch services with another municipality for its police department. LCSO currently provides police services and dispatch for Tower Lakes during overnight hours.
• The Lake County State’s Attorney’s Office has reviewed this initial IGA.
• Tower Lakes will pay $10,991.88 for 16 hours daily for police dispatch services from May 1, 2024, to April 30, 2025.

RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the Village of Tower Lakes has submitted a written request that the Sheriff provide 16 hours of police dispatch services to the Village; and
WHEREAS, the Village of Tower Lakes has requested LCSO provide police dispatch services for sixteen hours per day, every day of the contract period; and
WHEREAS, the Sheriff has negotiated an Intergovernmental Agreement with the Village relative to providing said services; and
WHEREAS, the County and the Village are proposing that the initial rate for policing services will be:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the Chair of the Board and the Sheriff are hereby authorized to execute an Intergovernmental Agreement with the Village of Tower Lakes for the purpose of providing sixteen hours of police dispatch services in the Village, effective May 1, 2024; revenue shall be received in account #101-3001110-45380 Revenue from Municipalities; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the County Clerk is hereby directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution to the Village of Tower Lakes and the Lake County Sheriff.
