Joint resolution authorizing a contract with the Pat Davis Design Group, Inc., Sacramento, California, for a 12-month agreement with a budget of $48,000 to provide ongoing professional services and support in the execution of the Lake County Workforce Development Board (LCWDB) Strategic Outreach and Communication Plan.

 

Staff Summary

•                     The Lake County Workforce Development Board issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) for ongoing professional services and support for the execution of the Workforce Development Board Strategic Marketing and Communication Plan as budgeted in the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) grant.

•                     Lake County received six proposals that were evaluated against the RFP criteria. The evaluators recommend entering a contract with Pat Davis Design Group, Inc.

•                     The contract term will be March 15, 2023 to March 14, 2024 with a budget of $48,000 and an option to renew for up to four additional 12 month periods based on performance and available WIOA funding.

RESOULTION

 

WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 5-102 of the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, proposals were called for by publication for establishing contracts with qualified providers for the purpose of establishing a contract with a qualified Marketing and Communications professional group and/or individual (“Consultant”) to provide professional services for the ongoing execution of the strategic marketing and communications plan for the Lake County Workforce Development Board; and

 

WHEREAS, the LCWDB and Lake County Purchasing issued a RFP on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, to solicit a qualified Marketing and Communications professional group and/or individual (“Consultant”) to provide ongoing professional services for the execution of the strategic marketing and communications plan for the Lake County Workforce Development Board; and

 

WHEREAS, the Lake County Workforce Development has reviewed the six proposals and is recommending one contract for the time period March 15, 2023 to March 14, 2024 with a budget of $48,000 and an option to renew for up to four additional 12 month periods based on performance and available WIOA funding; and

 

WHEREAS, performance and budgets have been negotiated with the provider to provide ongoing professional services and support for the execution of the strategic marketing and communications plan for the Lake County Workforce Development Board.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the purchasing agent is hereby directed to enter into contract with Pat Davis Design Group, Inc to provide ongoing professional services and support for the execution of the strategic marketing and communications plan for the Lake County Workforce Development Board for $48,000, with the option for renewal for up to an additional four, 12 month periods based on performance and available WIOA funding.
