·      This service will be charged to account 101-2110020-72560 for $16,320 and to account $101-2110020-79940 for $62,752.

WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 4-102 of the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, bids were called for by publication for Delivery Services and Storage of Election Equipment and Supplies for the Lake County Clerk; and

WHEREAS, Invitations for bids were extended to ten (10) vendors; and

WHEREAS, sealed bids were received from five (5) vendors and opened in the County Building, Waukegan, IL on September 15, 2009 at 2:00 p.m.; and

WHEREAS, Federal Companies, Waukegan, IL is the lowest responsive and responsible in the estimated amount of $79,072 per year; three other bids received ranged from $79,276.48 to $101,400 and one non-responsive bid was received.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the Purchasing Agent is hereby authorized to enter into a two-year contract with renewals with Federal Companies, Waukegan, IL in the estimated amount of $79,072 per year for Delivery Services and Storage of Election Equipment and Supplies, charging $16,320 to account 101-2110020-72560-000-000-000-00000 and

$62,752 to account 101-2110020-79940-000-000-000-00000.
