•                     This resolution authorizes and directs the County Purchasing Agent to execute a contract with Tecorp Inc., Joliet, Illinois, in the amount of $842,862 for the repair services and annual maintenance of the dry bulk storage tanks at the Des Plaines River WRF.

RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, the County of Lake (County) owns, operates, and maintains the Des Plaines River Water Reclamation Facility; and

WHEREAS, the Des Plaines River Water Reclamation Facility, Dry Bulk Storage Tanks need inspection, maintenance, and repair on an on-going basis; and

WHEREAS, in accordance with the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, bids were called for by publication for Lake County Public Works; and

WHEREAS, Tecorp Inc is the lowest responsive, responsible bidder in the amount of $842,862 for the alternative bid to repair the tanks and for the annual maintenance and repair services.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the Purchasing Agent is hereby authorized and directed to enter into an agreement with Tecorp Inc, Joliet, Illinois, in the amount of $641,862, executable over a multi-year period, for the repair of the dry bulk storage tanks, and $201,000 renewable annually for up to five years, for the annual maintenance and repair services at the Des Plaines River Water Reclamation Facility.
