RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Enterprise Information Technology recommends partnering with Logicalis, Inc. for Cisco SmartNet, which is round-the-clock technical support, security updates and software maintenance; and
WHEREAS, the first-year agreement covers current network devices across the County for one-year, including firewalls, routers, and switches, for an estimated $245,953 and an estimated amount of $360,000 in subsequent years due to hardware replacements currently in progress; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Article 33.115 of the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, Cooperative Purchasing, Lake County may participate in a cooperative purchasing agreement for the procurement of goods, services, or professional services with one or more public procurement units in accordance with an agreement entered into between the participants; and
WHEREAS, a cooperative purchasing contract has been identified through 1GPA (22-02PV-12) to procure needed goods, services, construction, or professional services that have been competitively solicited and awarded.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this Lake County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the Purchasing Agent is authorized to enter into a one-year agreement with Logicalis, Inc. for Cisco SmartNet, technical support, security updates and software maintenance for an estimated $245,953 with the option to renew two, 12-month periods.
