· Wadsworth Road, at Green Bay Road (Illinois Route 131): Village of Beach Park Agreement.
· Wadsworth Road, at Green Bay Road, will be improved by widening, resurfacing and the installation of new traffic control signals, including improvements to the intersection of Wadsworth Road at Cambridge Boulevard.
· As part of this improvement, Lake County will modify stormwater facilities on Village property, replace some disturbed trees, and relocate watermain facilities within the limits of the County improvement of Wadsworth Road, at Green Bay Road.
· The Village will reimburse the County for the relocation of the Village's watermain facilities.
· The Village Board of Beach Park approved this agreement on February 28, 2013.
· This resolution authorizes the execution of an intergovernmental agreement with the Village of Beach Park.

R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Wadsworth Road, County Highway 17, is a designated route on the County highway system; and
WHEREAS, the Village of Beach Park and Lake County believe it would be beneficial for the safety and welfare of the motoring public if the intersections of Wadsworth Road, at Illinois Route 131 (Green Bay Road) and at Cambridge Blvd., could be improved by widening, resurfacing and the installation of new traffic control signals; and
WHEREAS, this improvement includes the modification of stormwater facilities on Village property, replacing some disturbed trees, and relocating watermain facilities within the limits of the County's improvement; and
WHEREAS, the Village will reimburse the County for the relocation of the watermain facilities; and
WHEREAS, Lake County and the Village are desirous of entering into an agreement stating the terms and conditions for the modification of stormwater facilities on Village property, replacing some disturbed trees, and relocating watermain facilities within the limits of the County's improvement, a draft copy of which is attached hereto; and
WHEREAS, the Village of Beach Park Board approved this agreement on February 28, 2013.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by this Lake County Board, that the County Board Chair, the County Clerk, and the County Engineer of Lake County, Illinois, are authorized, and are hereby directed to enter into an agreement between Lake County and the Village of Beach Park stating the terms and conditions for the modification of stormwater facilities on Village property, replacing some disturbed trees, and relocating watermain facilities within the limits of the County's improvement along Wadsworth Road, at Green Bay Road, and designated as Section 03-00033-12-CH.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the County Engineer shall transmit, in writing, the final agreement to be executed by the County Board Chair and the County Clerk.
