RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, there is a need to enter into a contract with a successful vendor to provide herbicide application services for Lake County; and
WHEREAS, the contractor shall provide all materials and labor for the herbicide application to right-of-ways; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Chapter 33.036 of the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, a bid was called for, by publication, for herbicide application to the right-of-ways for the Lake County Division of Transportation; and
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received from one vendor at the Lake County Administrative Building, Waukegan, Illinois, on June 5, 2026; and
WHEREAS, based on the criteria set forth in the bid; the staff evaluated all bids submitted and determined that the bid submitted by TGF Enterprises, Inc., Libertyville, Illinois, in the amount of $74,358.12, is the lowest responsive and responsible bidder for Lake County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the Purchasing Agent is authorized to enter into a contract with TGF Enterprises, Inc., Libertyville, Illinois, for herbicide application services in the estimated amount of $74,358.12.
