WHEREAS, the County of Lake owns and maintains the Public Works Maintenance Building in Libertyville; and
WHEREAS, the Maintenance Building is over 35 years old and requires rehabilitation including the replacement of the existing building windows, siding, gutters, downspouts and doors; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with the Rules of this County Board, bids were called for by publication for the Maintenance Building Façade Renovations; and
WHEREAS, subsequent to said publication, invitations to bid were extended to nineteen (19) contractors; and
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received and publicly opened in the office of the Public Works Department on Thursday, March 26, 2009, at 2:00 p.m., the bid prices were as follows:

WHEREAS, MJG Enterprises Corp., Chicago, IL, is the low responsive, responsible bidder in the total amount of $65,664.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the Purchasing Agent is hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract with MJG Enterprises Corp., Chicago, IL, in the amount of $65,664.00 for the Maintenance Building Façade Renovation and charging the costs thereof to Account No. 610-4881098-48310.
