• Hainesville Road will be improved, from Washington Street to Rollins Road, inclusive of roadway, intersection, and non-motorized improvements.
• The Village owns and maintains watermain and sanitary sewer facilities within the project limits requiring modification.
• The Village is also desirous that Lake County include the construction of new non-motorized accommodations including sidewalk as part of the improvement.
• The Village will reimburse Lake County for its share of the engineering and construction costs associated with these improvements, estimated to be $96,787.
• This improvement is included in the Transportation Improvement Program, with construction anticipated to begin in 2027 and designated as Section 19-00072-14-WR.

RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Hainesville Road, County Highway 24, is a designated route on the county highway system; and
WHEREAS, Lake County believes it would be beneficial for the safety and welfare of the traveling public if Hainesville Road, from Washington Street to Rollins Road, could be improved, inclusive of roadway, intersection, and non-motorized improvements; and
WHEREAS, the Village is desirous that Lake County include the construction of new non-motorized accommodations including sidewalk as part of the improvement; and
WHEREAS, the Village owns watermain and sanitary sewer facilities within the project limits requiring modification; and
WHEREAS, Lake County and the Village are desirous of entering into an agreement stating the terms and conditions for the Village’s participation in this project, a draft copy of which is attached hereto.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the County Board Chair, the County Clerk, and the County Engineer of Lake County, Illinois, are authorized, and are hereby directed to enter into an agreement, and any amendments, between Lake County and the Village of Round Lake Park stating the terms and conditions for the Village’s participation in the Hainesville Road improvement project, and designated as Section 19-00072-14-WR; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the County Engineer shall transmit, in writing, the final agreement and any amendments, to be executed by the County Board Chair and the County Clerk.
