· This resolution authorizes the execution of a master agreement with the Village of Grayslake for the installation, operation and maintenance of Village owned folding stop signs at County owned and maintained traffic signals.

R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Lake County, by and through its Division of Transportation has jurisdiction over various signalized intersections located within the Village of Grayslake; and
WHEREAS, the Village of Grayslake desires to install, operate and maintain Village owned folding stop signs at said intersections; and
WHEREAS, the Village will be using the folding stop signs in the event of an emergency; and
WHEREAS, this installation will be beneficial to the Village of Grayslake and Lake County as a whole; and
WHEREAS, the Village of Grayslake and Lake County are desirous of entering into a master agreement pertaining to the installation of said folding stop signs, a draft copy of which is attached hereto.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by this Lake County Board, that the County Board Chair, the County Clerk, and the County Engineer of Lake County are authorized, and they are directed to execute a master agreement pertaining to the installation, operation and maintenance of said folding stop signs.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Engineer shall transmit, in writing, the final agreement to be executed by the County Board Chair and the County Clerk.
