• Enterprise Information Technology (EIT) recommends partnering with TD Synnex for managed services to provide performance monitoring and application support of the Oracle (BOSS) system.
• This managed service provider will ensure that the Oracle (BOSS) system performs optimally and without interruption.
• Pursuant to Chapter 33.115 of the County’s Purchasing Ordinance, Cooperative Joint Purchasing Authorized, the County may participate in a cooperative purchasing agreement for the procurement of goods, services, construction, or professional services with one or more public procurement units in accordance with an agreement entered into between the participants.
• A cooperative purchasing contract with TD Synnex has been identified through Omnia 180233-001 to procure needed goods, services, construction, or professional services that were competitively solicited and awarded.

RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, EIT recommends partnering with TD Synnex for managed services for the performance monitoring and application support of the Oracle (BOSS) system; and
WHEREAS, this managed service provider will ensure that the Oracle (BOSS) system performs optimally and without interruption; and
WHEREAS, Pursuant to Chapter 33.115 of the County’s Purchasing Ordinance, Cooperative Joint Purchasing Authorized, the County may participate in a cooperative purchasing agreement for the procurement of goods, services, construction, or professional services with one or more public procurement units in accordance with an agreement entered into between the participants; and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this Lake County Board, that the Purchasing Agent is authorized to enter into a three-year contract with TD Synnex for managed services for the Oracle (BOSS) system in the amount of $688,062.
