• The owner of the parcel at 31682 N US Highway 12 in Lakemoor, Illinois, which is currently occupied by Fratellos Restaurant, has requested sanitary sewer service from the providers of sewer service in the North West Lake facility planning area (FPA) to transport and treat its sewage discharge.
• The sewage from this parcel will discharge into the local sewer, owned by the Lakes Region Sanitary, then be transported via the County Northwest Interceptor Sewer and delivered to the Fox Lake Northwest Regional water reclamation facility (WRF) for treatment.
• This resolution authorizes a first amendment to the 2013 restated and amended agreement for sewage disposal by and between the County of Lake and the Lakes Region Sanitary District.

R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, the County of Lake (County) and the Lakes Region Sanitary District (District) have previously entered into a 2013 Restated and Amended Agreement for Sewage Disposal dated May 14, 2013; and
WHEREAS, the Parties desire to amend the boundary of the District Service Area and the County Northwest Service Area to include a 1.99 acre parcel commonly known as 31682 North US Highway 12, which is currently occupied by Fratellos Restaurant; and
WHEREAS, the parcel is proximate to an existing sanitary sewer main located within the District Service Area and the County Northwest Service Area; and
WHEREAS, the owner of the parcel has requested to connect to the existing sanitary sewer main; and
WHEREAS, the County and the District have determined they can readily provide sanitary sewer service to the parcel; and
WHEREAS, the County and the District desire to enter into this Amendment to add this parcel to the District Service Area and the County Northwest Sewer Service Area and provide sewer service to the parcel; and
WHEREAS, execution of said Amendment must be authorized by Resolution of this County Board.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the Chair of the County Board and the Clerk of said County be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute the attached First Amendment to 2013 Restated and Amended Agreement for Sewage Disposal by and between the County of Lake and the Lakes Region Sanitary District, in the form substantially herein.
