RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Lake County owns the properties located at 29278 Route 83 and 21010 W IL Route 60, Mundelein, Illinois (PIN 10-14-300-010 and 10-15-400-003), consisting of approximately 5.6 acres; and
WHEREAS, the property was formerly used by Lake County Health department and was previously the site of Lake County’s Animal Care and Control, but is now vacant land; and
WHEREAS, the County has determined that these properties are no longer needed for County purposes and should be declared excess property; and
WHEREAS, the Lake County Health Department has negotiated a sale of the property at the price of $135,000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the parcels located at 29278 Route 83 and 21010 W IL Route 60, Mundelein, Illinois (PIN 10-14-300-010 and 10-15-400-003), consisting of approximately 5.6 acres, formerly used by Lake County Health Department and was previously the site of Lake County’s Animal Care and Control facility, is hereby declared excess property; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the County Board hereby authorizes the sale of 29278 Route 83 and 21010 W IL Route 60, Mundelein, Illinois, for the agreed upon purchase price of $135,000 and the proceeds from this sale shall be deposited into Fund 211, Health Department capital and one-time operational expense fund, to support future capital projects and one-time operational needs.
