RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, there is a statutory requirement to mail real estate tax bills, provide specialty envelopes, and other related materials to property owners in Lake County; and
WHEREAS, the Office of the Lake County Treasurer will coordinate the timing of these mailings to include maintaining a list of registered E-notice recipients, distribution of email tax bills annually, printing, assembling and inserting, address verification, and mailing, along with proof of postage; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Chapter 33.036 of the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, proposals were called for by publication for Printing and Mailing of Real Estate Tax Bills for various Lake County departments; and
WHEREAS, electronic bids were received from two vendors and publicly opened via Zoom on August 29, 2025, at 11:00 a.m.; and
WHEREAS, based on the criteria set forth in the bid; the staff evaluated all bids submitted and determined that the bid submitted by Data Integrators, Fredericksburg, Virginia, in the amount of $34,270 is the lowest responsible and responsive bidder for the Lake County Treasurer.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the Purchasing Agent is authorized to enter into a contract with Data Integrators, Fredericksburg, Virginia, for Printing and Mailing of Real Estate Tax Bills for the Lake County Treasurer in the estimated annual amount of $34,270.
