Gordon Flesch Co.                                          Geneva, IL                                          $   650,088.00

•                     This contract will cost the County an estimated annual amount of $125,629.40 per year for a total cost of $628,147.00 over a five (5) year period.

 

 

Body

WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 4-102 of the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance bids were called for by publication for a High Volume Printer for Lake County; and

 

WHEREAS, subsequent to said publication, invitations for bids were extended to the twenty (20) service providers; and

 

WHEREAS, sealed bids were received from three (3) vendors and opened in the County Building, Waukegan, Illinois on Friday, July 18, 2008 at 2:00 p.m.; and

 

WHEREAS, Oce Business Services, Chicago, IL is the lowest responsive and responsible bidder for the High Volume Printer in the amount of $628,147.00 for a five year period, another responsible bid was received from: Xerox Municipal Lease, Chicago, IL $714,547.80; and

 

WHEREAS, one non-responsive bid was received from Gordon Flesch Co., Geneva, IL $650,088.00; and

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County,

Illinois, that the Purchasing Agent is hereby directed to enter into a lease agreement for a High Volume Printer with Oce Business Services, Chicago, IL in the estimated amount of $125,629.40 per year for a total cost of $628,147.00 over a five (5) year period, for a High Volume Printer, charging the costs thereof to account #101-1210020-72530-000-000-000-00000; and request its adoption.
