RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, Lake County Division of Transportation (LCDOT) is a licensed user of the cloud-based Automated Traffic Signal Performance Measure (ATSPM) solution; and

WHEREAS, ATSPM is used by LCDOT and other Lake County municipalities; and

WHEREAS, the existing agreement with Miovision Technologies, Inc. will expire on September 30, 2024; and

WHEREAS, LCDOT and Miovision Technologies, Inc. (formerly Traffop Corp.) desire to renew the existing agreement for a three-year period beginning October 1, 2024, and ending October 1, 2027, at a cost of $248,247; and

WHEREAS, an appropriation of funds is required.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the County Engineer of Lake County is hereby authorized and directed to execute an agreement on behalf of Lake County for a three-year agreement with Miovision Technologies, Inc. (formerly Traffop Corp.), Detroit, Michigan, for the ATSPM, a draft copy of which is attached hereto; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that there is hereby appropriated $298,000 of ¼% Sales Tax for Transportation funds to provide for these services and designated as Section 24-00999-05-TL; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this agreement shall be administered in accordance with Chapter 605 Act 5, Section 5-205.2 of the Illinois Compiled Statutes without further Board action, provided the final contract cost chargeable under the funds appropriated does not exceed the appropriation.
