• There is a need to have a maintenance and service contract for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) and building automation system (BAS) owned and operated by Lake County.
• Facilities and Construction Services identified a cooperative purchasing contract with Trane U.S. Inc., Willowbrook, Illinois, through Omnia Partners to procure the HVAC and BAS maintenance service that was competitively solicited and awarded.
• Pursuant to Section 33.115 of the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, Cooperative Joint Purchasing, Lake County may participate in a cooperative purchasing agreement for the procurement of goods with one or more public procurement units in accordance with an agreement entered between the participants.
• The current term of the Omnia Partners contract expires on August 31, 2027.

RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, there is a need to have a maintenance and service contract for HVAC and BAS owned and operated by Lake County; and
WHEREAS, Facilities and Construction Services identified a cooperative purchasing contract with Trane U.S. Inc., Willowbrook, Illinois, through Omnia Partners to procure the HVAC and BAS maintenance service that was competitively solicited and awarded; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 33.115 of the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, Cooperative Joint Purchasing, Lake County may participate in a cooperative purchasing agreement for the procurement of goods with one or more public procurement units in accordance with an agreement entered between the participants; and
WHEREAS, the current term of the Omnia Partners contract expires on August 31, 2027.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the Purchasing Agent is authorized to enter into an agreement, with Trane U.S. Inc. in the estimated annual amount of $76,508.
